January 1870 - Even though it would delay his arrival back home by a day, Scott had to make the detour to confirm a distant memory. Scanning the San Francisco Bay he spotted "The Enchantress", Murdoch's clipper that he could never part with. Walking out to the pier for a closer look Scott glanced up to admire the beautifully carved figurehead on the ship's prow and smiled. His father always said Scott had his mother's eyes. Now it was time to go home and talk to Murdoch.
