February 1870 - It took Scott several days to work his way through the Sydney International Exhibition . The displays were housed in the Garden Palace; one of the most beautiful buildings he had ever seen. Each country's exhibition of artifacts continued to amaze Scott as he weaved up and down the aisles. Experiencing the world like this made the vast Lancer ranch seem suddenly smaller. With his completed purchases of souvenir coins and postcards for the family it was time to set sail for Melbourne.
