Scott’s arrival home was a festive event! Gifts were unpacked and presented among laughter and hugs. Teresa and Maria had prepared all of Scott’s favorite dishes. Seriously. Every single one of them. He had never seen so much food.
Johnny was anxious to show Scott the ostriches were alive and well. He even named them … Kinsey and Madison. Scott raised an eyebrow at his little brother and then turned his attention to the ostrich named Kinsey. He was certain the bird was looking for something. A photographer perhaps?
At day’s end Scott and Murdoch found themselves alone in the study and over an excellent glass of scotch they began the sharing of stories past and present.
